Are You Stuck in a Rut?

If you’re stuck in a rut, you’re dying, little by little, day by day.

The frustration, indecision, fear and anxiety build up first in your mind, then in your body. Stress does things to a body, we all know that. And the longer you are stuck, the bigger the hit you will take.

Which means you have a choice to make.

Are you going to wake up and do something about it?

For the good of yourself, your family and colleagues, isn’t it about time to did something about it?

Easier said that done.

No it’s not.

You can flip this right now, if you really want to.

Trouble is, you probably enjoy being in a rut. With the doom and gloom surrounding you, you have a familiar cozy comfort blanket don’t you.

However you have rationalised your current state, stepping out of it will take energy, effort and courage, especially if you’ve been paralysed for a while.

The old routines, the old thoughts, and the old emotions will keep you stuck. The gravity of the situation, will keep you stuck to the same old.

So you’ll need a great burst of energy, of motivation, and of action, if you are to break free and start afresh.

Most weeks I see this happen. It doesn’t take long, but it usually takes an external stimulus to catapult people into new ways, and eventually into new habits, more positive habits.

Isn’t it time you broke free and created something new? Re-invented yourself, your identity and purpose? With so much change in the air, perhaps now is the ideal time to make this effort to wake up and live!
