In these days, in any days, you have to be very careful who you allow in to influence your thoughts, feelings and actions.
Recall the old maxim, “You are the average of the 5 people you spend most time with.”
In these strange times, most of us don’t have a choice who we are locked down with. Hopefully it’s with people you love, like and respect. People who nurture your soul and your being.
But, they don’t need to let them be the biggest influencers in your life.
Let’s re-write the maxim. “You are the average of the 5 people who influence you the most.”
Right now, who are you allowing to influence your thoughts, feelings and actions? Don’t default to those you spend most time with. You can choose who to allow to influence you.
Personally, at this moment in time, it has never been more important to surround yourself with influencers that support, nurture and allow you to respond well to what is going on in your environment.
So, here’s a question: Who are you choosing to influence you right now, and why?
